It was cleanup day at Camp Marcella in Rockaway, New Jersey. 🦁 Camp Marcella hosts summer camp for children with special needs, and those that are blind and visually impaired.
In 2018, the Elizabeth Portuguese Lions club “adopted” a cabin and have since been responsible for the annual summer cleanup and basic maintenance. This cabin is one of many and each cabin will be home to 8 campers and their counselors. Much love and care was put into cleaning the cabin by Lions members to make sure that it is ready for the campers to enjoy their summer.
The Elizabeth Portuguese Lions are proud to be a part of this memorable time that will put a smile on a child’s face. Thank you to DG John Schweska and Lion Fred Cuozzo for the visit!
