November 15th is America Recycles Day! Read how it all came about here:

We’re excited to receive content from all our State Recycling Organizations and post it in our News and Stories section of our website. This space is where we share what inspires us, what inspires you, what we’re working on, and what we’ve learned along the way.

Our next meeting is Tuesday, October 7, 9-10 at the T or C Library. We’ll discuss results from our booth at the County Fair (come see us October 2,3,4 - better yet, join us there. We still could use some more helpers to talk to the public about recycling and sustainability.) We’ll also discuss next steps.

Message from Judith Enck
President, Beyond Plastics

I wanted to let you know that we've just added a third speaker - Lindsey McCoy, the Co-founder and CEO of Plaine Products - to our July 31 webinar on excellent (existing!) alternatives to single-use plastic packaging.

I hope you'll join us to hear from Sarah Paiji Yoo, the Co-founder and CEO of Blueland, and Rob Kutner, the CRO of USEFULL, and, of course, Lindsey McCoy of Plaine Products.

As you're no doubt all too aware, right now, it’s difficult for consumers to avoid single-use plastic packaging. But more and more businesses are innovating to find better, less toxic, less wasteful and more sustainable ways to deliver their goods and products.

The great news is that not only is running a business without plastic packaging possible, but it can also be profitable.

Please join us at 7:00 PM ET on July 31 for an inspiring look at some excellent alternatives to single-use plastic packaging featuring leaders at three businesses that are making this WORK.

We'll hear from reuse and refill sustainable business leaders, Sarah Paiji Yoo, the CEO and Co-Founder of Blueland, makers of non-toxic natural cleaning products sold in reusable, refillable packaging, Lindsey McCoy, the CEO and Co-founder of Plaine Products, makers of salon-quality personal care products sold in aluminum bottles designed to be returned and refilled, and Rob Kutner, the CRO of USEFULL, a fast-growing reuse program provider that makes it easy for colleges and universities to seamlessly offer takeout meals in stainless steel returnable containers.

SAVE MY SPOT

Please join us and these sustainable business leaders to learn more about their journeys to plastic-free products and packaging.

Please join us via Zoom on Thursday, July 31 at 7:00 PM ET US for this free educational webinar.

As always, this event is free and open to the public. Please share this invitation with anyone you think might like to attend.

I hope you can join us on the 31st for what's sure to be an interesting and inspiring conversation with these three plastic-free business leaders.

Cheers,

Judith Enck
President, Beyond Plastics

P.S. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support our work to end plastic pollution everywhere.
