Safe Haven Dog Rescue We are a Tax-Exempt 501(c) 3 Organization Created in 2012 by volunteers to rescue, rehabilitate, and find loving homes for homeless dogs and puppies.

The majority of our dogs and puppies are rescued from Kill Pounds and Shelters in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Illinois. We are all foster based, meaning we do not have a “shelter”. Meet the DoberDoodle Litter – 7 Adorable Puppies Now Available for Adoption!

Seven adorable puppies, seven unique personalities, and seven future best friends looking for their forever families!

Born on August 16, 2026, these beautiful puppies are a mix of two intelligent and athletic breeds. Their mother is a gorgeous red/chocolate Doberman, and their father is a large black Labradoodle.

With this combination, we expect these puppies to grow into smart, loyal, long-legged, active dogs who will thrive with families committed to providing both physical exercise and mental stimulation. They will need consistent training, socialization, and opportunities to put those smart puppy brains to work!

Their coats are currently wiry, with very little shedding. However, these are mixed-breed puppies and should NOT be considered hypoallergenic. Their adult coats and shedding patterns may change as they mature.

While they are absolutely adorable now, it's important to remember that these puppies will likely grow into large, energetic dogs who need more than just a backyard. They will do best with families ready to invest time in training, exercise, enrichment, and plenty of love.

Each puppy has a personality all their own, and we can't wait to help them find families who will appreciate everything these special pups have to offer!

🐶 Meet Enzo 🐶

Hi, I’m Enzo — a handsome little DoberDoodle (Doberman + Doodle) with a birthday of August 16 and, according to everyone around here, some of the prettiest eyes you’ve ever seen. I can’t help it if I’m cute.

I’m a pretty easygoing guy who knows how to appreciate the finer things in life—like a really good bed and a favorite chew toy. I’m happy sleeping near my people, but I’m also surprisingly independent when it comes to bedtime. When I’m ready to call it a night, I’ll actually put myself to bed in my kennel. I mean, a guy has to have his routine!

When I’m not napping or enjoying my chew toys, you’ll probably find me wrestling with my brother. We have a lot of fun together, and I’m always up for a little puppy mischief.

I’m working on my puppy manners and learning all about the rules of being a good boy. I get along really well with all the resident dogs at my foster home, and I love kids. Really, I’m just happy to get attention from anyone who wants to give it!

I’m still very young, so everything is new and exciting to me. I’m smart, trainable, playful, and have plenty of puppy energy. I’m looking for someone who wants a fun companion to grow up with, teach me new things, and enjoy all the adventures (and snuggles!) that come with having a puppy.

And if you happen to fall in love with my eyes along the way… well, I certainly wouldn’t blame you.

Our standard adoption fee is $465. We offer a $15 discount for adopters who pay by cash or check, making the adoption fee $450.

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at one of our participating veterinarians, age-appropriate core vaccinations, f***l test, deworming, current on flea and tick preventative, and microchip.

To ensure the best match for both our dogs and adopters, we require a fully completed adoption application, a phone interview, and a meet-and-greet with the entire household. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed.

Submitting an application does not guarantee adoption and does not obligate you to adopt; it simply allows us to begin the review process.

Hi everyone! This is Cooper. He’s been in a foster home since March and he could really use your help finding his forever home!

Cooper is about 10 months old, neutered, up to date on all shots and is honestly a good boy. He just needs the right person or family to come along that aligns with his needs.

Cooper is amazing in a crate and will sleep quietly in it all night. He keeps his crate clean and is fully house broken. He loves kisses (receiving and giving them) and loves people, kids, and other dogs (if you can’t tell from this video).

The biggest thing that Cooper needs is someone who is active and wants an active dog by their side. He needs to get his puppy energy out or he gets a little stir crazy (he is still a baby after all). His current foster mom plays fetch with him (which he absolutely loves), walks him, takes him for short runs, and has 4 other dogs to play with him. He really loves other dogs and would benefit from a playmate at his home. He would also love to be your running or walking partner (with a little more leash training).

Cooper is extremely treat motivated and easy to train. He’s really a smart, sweet boy as long as his energy needs are being met.

One thing Cooper is not a big fan of are feet near him on a couch when he’s sleeping. He will bark at you for this but does not bite.

He deserves a loving person or family to call his forever home after waiting 7 months already.
