El Monte Promise Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps prepare students, at an early age, for college. We bring key people and organizations together so they can coordinate systems, resources, and activities to benefit El Monte students’ education. We also help develop promising projects that further our mission. Parents, students, and community leaders from school districts, colleges, local governments, businesses, nonprofits, and private foundations are active in our work. El Monte Promise Foundation is currently under the fiscal sponsorship of Community Partners. For the past 14 years, El Monte Promise Foundation has been honored to work alongside students, families, educators, businesses, and community partners to help create more opportunities for young people in our community.

Today, we are sharing that the Board of Directors has made the decision to conclude the Foundation’s operations effective October 31, 2026.

We are proud of what we’ve accomplished together and thankful to everyone who has supported this work over the years. While the Foundation’s operations are coming to an end, the commitment to students and families will continue through the schools, colleges, businesses, and community organizations that have been our partners from the beginning.

To reflect on the impact of these 14 years, our organization has compiled a report highlighting the work, partnerships, milestones, and stories that have shaped the El Monte Promise Foundation. We invite you to learn more and access the report by visiting Promisenow.org/Legacy

Thank you for helping build a legacy that will continue through our students, families, and community partners.
