Psalm 1:1-3 - Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
For any tree to grow, it must first be planted. As believers, we know that to produce righteous fruit in our own lives, we must first be planted in faith. How is the soil of your life doing today? Are there things that need to be pulled out and removed? Are you ready to humbly receive the word and the promises of God for your life? Are you ready to be planted in faith?
Planted indicates that the blessed individual is firmly fixed. Like a deeply rooted tree, the righteous are secure when the winds and storms of life rage against them. Allow the Spirit of God to produce the fruit of God in your life. Allow love, joy, peace, and patience to flourish

"He Must Increase" — John 3:30
There is a word in this verse that demands our attention: the word "must." It carries the weight of divine necessity. It is the same word Jesus used when He said "the Son of Man must suffer" (Mark 8:31). The implication is this: This increase of Christ in your life is not optional. He must increase. I must decrease. There is no middle ground offered. John the Baptist understood this with remarkable clarity. John was at the height of his influence when he proclaimed these words. Note in the previous verse (John 3:29), John declares that he rejoiced at the sound of the Bridegroom's voice. This is the mark of genuine discipleship: the ability to decrease joyfully. The Apostle Paul arrived at the same place by the same road. "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain" (Philippians 1:21).
The question for us is simple: Is Jesus increasing in your life? Is Christ becoming more visible, more central, in your actual daily life? Let us declare like John the Baptist, “Less of me. More of Christ!”

Hebrews 4:16 - Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (ESV)

What a beautiful invitation. God does not tell us to stay at a distance. Instead, He lovingly calls us to draw near. As Christians, we have the privilege of a personal relationship with God. We can speak openly and honestly with Him. We can bring our doubts, our struggles, our temptations, and our failures without fear of rejection. We approach Him with reverence, yes — but also with a confidence that isn’t rooted in our perfection but in His grace. It is a throne of grace. From that throne, God graciously dispenses exactly what we need: Mercy when we have fallen. Strength when we are tempted. Help when we feel overwhelmed. Comfort when we are weary. You are not meant to fight your battles alone. In your time of need, you have access to heaven’s help. So today, draw near. Come boldly. Come expectantly. There is mercy waiting for you. There is grace ready to sustain you. There is God who loves you!

Romans 12:1-2 - I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

The more we know God, the more we will know that He is trustworthy. The more we trust Him, the more we desire to be with Him. And the more we are with Him, the more we will be like Him. Note how this indicates a time of worship, being in God's Word and in prayer every day. As believers, we must continually seek to know Christ and be like Him in every way. For this is the will of God for our lives.

Fear is one of the most powerful emotions we face. It rises against us throughout life—first as imagined monsters under the bed, then as real threats in a broken world: violence, disease, war, loss.
But fear is more than emotion. It’s a spiritual enemy. Scripture reminds us, “God has not given us a spirit of fear…” (2 Tim. 1:7). Fear often flows from our fallen nature, not from the heart of God.
David knew this battle well. In Psalm 27, he shows us how to respond when fear assaults us:
• Declare your faith: The Lord is your light, salvation, and stronghold.
• Seek His presence: Draw near through prayer and worship.
• Wait with trust: God will meet your needs in His perfect time.
“The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?” — Psalm 27:1
