New Building Update

The work day planned for November 8th concentrate on having sufficient preparations for the December 6th Cornerstone Leveling by Grand Master MW Raborn L. Reader.

The Cornerstone Leveling by Grand Lodge Officials is confirmed for Saturday December 6th, Brothers this is going to be a big event plans being developed include open invitations to our surround communities, family and friends.

October Activities

1. The 28th Brother SD Doyle is putting together an EA Degree team, and a practice is schedule for the 28th.
2. Friday the 31st Halloween SD Brother Doyle is coordinating.

New Building Update From Thomas Merchant

The final walk through took place last week and the first work on the inside took place October 11th, with 17 Lodge Brothers and other volunteers working together on framing, cooking, and running errands.

The next work day is planned for November 8th the main task will continue work interior and exterior walls to have sufficient stone veneer in place for the December 6th Cornerstone Leveling by Grand Master MW Raborn L. Reader. Additional frame out work if time allows.

The Cornerstone Leveling by Grand Lodge Officials is confirmed for Saturday December 6th. This event is an important one for Clear Lake Masonic Lodge details will be given during October Stated Meeting; this is an opportunity for you and the Lodge to be recognized by The Grand Lodge of Texas, other Brothers from Masonic Lodges in the area, and the communities including Seabrook, El Lago, Taylor Lake Village and the greater Clear Lake City area.

New Building Update

The final walk through will take place early this week after which we take possession of the building and begin work on the inside, much in the same way the existing building was erected in 1968 by way of Lodge Brothers working together. Come one, come all, let’s work together, eat together and build our Lodge together. There will be something for everyone to do, whether you are construction inclined or not, miscellaneous activities include; cooks for breakfast and lunch, runners for supplies, time keeper (volunteer hours need to be tabulated), safety observer, and more.

Two work days are planned for this year;
1. Saturday October 11th start 8:am – task for the day will be interior walls and maybe begin hanging stone veneer on exterior walls.
2. Saturday November 8th – task work on exterior walls to have sufficient stone veneer in place for the December 6th Cornerstone Leveling by Grand Master MW Raborn L. Reader. Additional frame out work if time allows.

The Cornerstone Leveling by Grand Lodge Officials is confirmed for Saturday December 6th details to follow.
