🇺🇸 SO THANKFUL FOR TODAY AT EL CAMPO ROTARY PARK!

What a wonderful day seeing our new flags flying proudly at Rotary Park! This project is another great example of what can happen when people and businesses in our community come together.

A HUGE thank you BLS and William Key with BLS for generously donating and installing the flagpoles and flags.
Thank you to Taylor Martin and Martin Electric for donating the lighting for the flags, and to Gulf Coast Ready Mix for donating the concrete. Your generosity and support made this project possible!

And a very special thank you to the El Campo Rotary Club for continuing to believe in and support improvements to Rotary Park. I am so proud of what we are accomplishing together.

🎣🍹 LAST WEEK AT EL CAMPO ROTARY! 🍹🎣

Last week, the El Campo Rotary Club held our Calcutta for the Margarita Cup Fishing Tournament, and what a great time we had!

We enjoyed some awesome food, plenty of laughs and fellowship, and of course, some of those amazing custom cocktails from Rasmussen Distillery right here in El Campo!

The Calcutta is always a fun part of the Margarita Cup. Participants had the opportunity to bid on boat captains who were purchased at our Annual Seafood Supper fundraiser, with proceeds helping support the many local projects and organizations that El Campo Rotary gives back to throughout the year.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who participated, supported the event, and helped make this year's Margarita Cup another success! 🙌

This month, the El Campo Rotary Club officially welcomed our new President, John VonDerAu, along with our new slate of officers! 🎉

It was a great evening filled with good food, cold drinks, great music, and even better fellowship. We also had the opportunity to hear President John and our new officers share their vision and plans for the upcoming Rotary year. It's exciting to see what's ahead as we continue serving our community together.

Here's to another great year of "Service Above Self" and making a positive impact in El Campo! 💙💛

As we wrapped up an amazing 2025–2026 Rotary year, we took time to celebrate some incredible people!

🏆 Rotarian of the Year: Richard Arnett – Thank you for everything you do for our club. This recognition is so well deserved!

💵 Good News Dollars: Bob Callahan – Thanks for keeping us smiling and sharing the good news all year long!

⭐ Service Above Self Award: Jeff Snyder – Thank you for your dedication to Rotary and for all of your hard work securing sponsorships for Rotary Spirit of Christmas.

🍖 A big thank you to Demetric Wells for cooking an amazing barbecue for our last meeting. It was the perfect way to celebrate the year!

A huge thank you to our Rotary Board for your support, leadership, and teamwork throughout the year. We accomplished so much because of each of you.

And we can't forget our Youth Exchange student, Matt. We are going to miss you. Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our Rotary family this year!

🔔 Last Week at El Campo Rotary Club 🔔

Last week, we enjoyed a wonderful Rotary social hosted at the home of one of our members, Richard Arnett and his amazing wife Vickie!

It was a great opportunity for members, spouses, significant others, and families to come together outside of our regular meetings to enjoy good food, fellowship, and plenty of fun. 🍔🌭😊

Events like these remind us that Rotary is more than just a service organization—we are a group of friends dedicated to serving our community and supporting one another. Building strong relationships within our club helps strengthen our ability to make a positive impact throughout the El Campo community.

Thank you again to Richard and Vickie for hosting such a great evening. A big shoutout to another fellow Rotarian Scott Blackburn for being our chef for the evening. We had a fantastic time and look forward to many more opportunities to gather, connect, and grow together!
