Fall Classic 2026!

Two days of racing, plenty of firsts, and the beginning of a new season. There has been a lot of change lately, but we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend together.

A time on the board can tell us how a race ended, but not everything that happened along the way. It doesn’t show the decisions made in the water, the nerves behind the blocks, the questions asked afterward, or the small things a swimmer is beginning to understand about themselves and their racing. Those things take time too. Especially this early in the season, where we spend that time matters. At practice, at meets, beside our teammates, and simply getting more chances to race. The times will come with it.

Thank you to our swimmers, families, coaches, officials, and volunteers for making our first team hosted meet of the season such a special one.

Now, can you spot the Lucky Cheese???

That’s a wrap on the September Shakeout and our first meet of the season!

Thank you to all of our swimmers, families, coaches, volunteers, and officials who helped make the meet such a great start to the season. It was especially exciting to see so many new swimmers and families experiencing their first meet with CSC.

We hope everyone had a great time racing, cheering, volunteering, and being part of the team. We’re just getting started, and we hope to see you at many more meets this season!

FAR WESTERNS | CONCORD, CA

Five Cascade swimmers represented CSC at Far Western Championships in Concord, California, with top finishes, finals swims, personal bests, and a team record.

Clay Harper put together an incredible meet, dropping time in every event and earning top finishes in the backstroke and distance freestyle. Jed Cook swam a 32.62 a personal best in the 50M Breast to break his own Cascade team record and place 7th. Crawford Brunjes with a best time placing 6th in the 800 Free with a 9:28.39. Audrey Loudon battled through injury to place 4th in the 1500 Free and 8th in the 800 Free. Violet Perry again winning a swim-off in the 100 Back to advance to the final.

A fun highlight from the week Violet & Clay designed and hand-colored custom Cascade shirts that quickly became a favorite around the pool. A great week of racing and representing CSC!

Fat Salmon Open Water Swim

Our Cascade Masters took on the annual Fat Salmon Open Water Swim on July 25th at Madison Park Beach on Lake Washington — a challenging 3.2-mile open water race!

A huge congratulations to Meredith Thompson for an incredible swim, winning the race overall, taking the top women’s finish, winning her age group, and bringing home the SALMON in the wetsuit division!

More standout finishes:
🏆 Shawn Jeffery — 1st in the 45–49 age group (wetsuit)
🥈 Caitlyn Motley — 2nd in the 35–39 age group (wetsuit)
👏 Coach Sam Sentenn — 5th in the 25–29 age group (no wetsuit)

What a fun day of racing for our Masters swimmers!

6th Place | 2026 PN 12 & Under Long Course Championships

What a weekend for our 12 & Unders! From big personal bests to breakthrough swims, this team put together an incredible championship meet and earned a 6th-place team finish

Thomas Nguyen, Clay Harper, Drake Perry, and Audrey Loudon all had outstanding championship performances, while Christian Lee and Lily Sun dropped time in every individual event. Shoutout to Amali Gooze and Peter Hofman for competing at their first-ever championship meet, and to Anya Reckhow, our youngest Cascade swimmer to qualify for this year's championship meet!

With so many swimmers qualifying for championships this season, it was awesome to see our team show up and race so well. What a fun weekend! 💙❤️
