What happens when a child who seems fine on the outside is quietly drowning inside? When the distance between parents and children grows - not because there is no love, but because they no longer know how to reach each other.
When “How was your day?” gets a simple “Fine.”
When “I’m okay” doesn’t really mean okay.
When a child feels unheard, misunderstood, or too afraid to speak.
Child mental health struggles don’t always announce themselves. They can hide behind silence, anger, withdrawal, falling grades, or simply stopping sharing their world with you.
Perhaps our children don’t always need us to have the answers. Perhaps they need us to listen without judgment, stay without fixing..
This episode of OFFBEAT আড্ডা is a deeply honest mother-daughter conversation about child mental health, depression, feeling unheard, and finding a way back to each other.
Because sometimes, listening can be the beginning of saving a life.

​At Sreeshti of New Jersey, we believe that small acts of kindness can create big, happy tails! Throughout the month of October (Oct 1–31), We intend to donate essential items to support our local pet shelters and the animals waiting for their forever homes.
​We’re collecting dry dog & cat food, treats, blankets, towels, leashes, collars, and new or gently used pet clothes! Monetary donations are also warmly accepted.
