Wednesday June 10th Parker Davies of Scout Troop #427 presented to Wells-McComas VFW Post a Flag Box. His presentation included the time, organization, design, use of a 3D printer and donations to complete the project. In addition to the one donated to Wells- McComas Parker built 3 others to donate to the local VFWs. Worn and tattered flags can be turned into VFWs and held until dignified flag retirement ceremonies are held. Parker has participated in other Wells McComas functions. Everyone in attendance at the meeting applauded him on a job well done. Parker is an Eagle Scout and will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. He aspires to be an Air Force Pilot and has applied for AFROTC.

Beloved Auxiliary member, past Men's Auxiliary President, and everyone's favorite bingo caller Charles Raynor passed away this morning. He and his infectious laugh will be missed by all! Until we meet again. Rest in peace Charlie.
