Why should you go to the Jr. Leader Retreat?

This is where the year actually starts. It's a chance for you to come in, get connected, and build skills that will carry you through the year.

It's not just about showing up, it's about being a part of something and having a role in what we're doing.

You don't have to attend the retreat to be a Jr. Leader, but if you want to start strong, get connected early, and ready to contribute, this is where you'll want to be.

4-H University is just around the corner and some of our 4-H members have been hard at work preparing for their contest and a few have submitted items that were due before the actual event. Join us in wishing two of our teen artist, Keian A. (East St. John High School Wildcats) and Rita W. (Community Club) the best of luck in this year’s Visual Arts Contest!

The lights are finally out in the cabins here at 4-H Camp! The last full day of camp is always fun, memorable and one you have to reflect on. With that good night and we will see St. John Parish in the morning!

Day 2 of 4-H Camp is a wrap. It’s been a day full of activities, from educational tracks, recreation activities, trivia and free time. We know everyone will be sleeping good tonight.

Week 1 of 4-H Summer Camp is officially underway. All St. John campers have made their beds, taken a swim test, gone on a tour of the camp grounds and now preparing for dinner, track selection and free time. We are looking forward to a good week!

Here we go! 4-H campers, counselors, and adult volunteers—get a good night’s rest because tomorrow the wheels on the bus are rolling to Camp Grant Walker! Make sure you’re on time and ready to go in the morning for check-in and loading. We will depart promptly at 8:55 a.m. from Regala Park. Don’t forget to pack a lunch for the ride. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Mr. Xavier on his cell. It’s finally here… camp time! Let’s gooo!!
