Our Jr. Leaders did a fantastic job at the Andouille Festival today! They led a live demonstration showing participants how to make delicious Crab Dip and helped younger festival-goers become food scientists by creating their own fruit slushies using freshly squeezed and juiced fruits. The session was filled with great aromas, hands-on learning, and plenty of tasty snacks along the way. A big thank you to our Jr. Leaders for giving up part of their weekend to help make this experience a success. We appreciate your leadership, enthusiasm, and willingness to serve our community!

As of 10/16/2026, we have reached 304 approved 4-H members! That puts us at 81% of our enrollment goal for the year. We still have a few schools that have not submitted enrollment forms, so there's still plenty of room for growth.

With that, we want to congratulate our division winners for our Annual Enrollment Drive that took place during September.

The 4-H year is just getting started! If you know someone who is not involved in 4-H, encourage them to join, invite a friend, and get active in the many opportunities we have to offer. 4-H is a place for everybody, and we look forward to welcoming even more youth to the St. John Parish 4-H Family!

Catch our Jr. Leaders at the Andouille Festival this Sunday! The Jr. Leaders will be leading a delicious Blue Crab Dip cooking demonstration and helping youth create their very own fruit slushies at the Kids Tent.

Stop by Kids Tent 3 at 2:00 PM to learn, taste, and have some fun with 4-H. We hope to see you there!

If you turned in your Andouille Festival volunteer form by the deadline, your volunteer shirt and festival ticket will be delivered to your school today or tomorrow.

If you submitted your form after the deadline, you are still welcome to volunteer and we appreciate your willingness to help! However, we will not be able to provide a festival ticket or volunteer shirt due to the order and ticket deadlines.

Thank you to everyone who signed up to represent 4-H at this year's festival. We look forward to a great weekend!

The Spark Action Change Summit is an immersive three-day experience for 7th and 8th grade 4-H members focused on leadership, civic engagement, service, and personal growth. Participants will explore Louisiana's capital city, strengthen leadership skills, discover how government works, and connect with other 4-H'ers from across the state.

This conference has become a favorite among St. John Parish 4-H members, and we are excited to offer the opportunity once again!

The votes are in! Thank you to all of our clubs who participated in this year's St. John Parish 4-H Display Contest, and a big thank you to everyone who took the time to cast their votes!

This year's overall winners were selected by a panel of judges from outside the parish and evaluated based on their connection to our parish theme, representation of 4-H, creativity and visual appeal, effort and workmanship, and overall impact.
