Today we celebrate all the amazing moms, grandmas, and mother figures who cheer from the sidelines, run alongside their kids, and make every race day so special 💚

Thank you for the encouragement, the early arrivals, the post-race hugs, and everything in between. We’re so lucky to have you as part of our HKRS community!

HKRS Eden Prairie – Final Race Day Reminder! 💚🩵

Our last race of the season is almost here, and we can’t wait to celebrate with all of our amazing runners and families this Sunday, May 10!

💐 Theme: Wear your mom’s favorite color in honor of Mother’s Day
🕓 Schedule (subject to slight changes):
• 4:00–4:45 PM – Kids Races
• 4:45–5:15 PM – Parent Mile
• 5:15–5:45 PM – Awards Ceremony (amphitheater)

🏅 All runners participating will receive a medal at the finish line
🏆 Trophy awards for K–8 divisions (1st–3rd place, boys & girls)
✨ Healthy Kid Award presented to one outstanding participant

📸 Don’t forget! Photos from Week 4 are available through June 10. Check your email for details!

🍪 Unbakeable Food Truck will be joining us for a sweet celebration—mention “I’m a Doh Mom” for $1 off!

A few quick reminders before you head out:
🕓 Races start at 4 PM (arrive early because races move fast!)
👟 Run your assigned race based on grade (Pre-K by age)
🎽 Don’t forget your bib, make sure it’s fully filled out & attached to the front of your shirt
🇺🇸 It’s Red, White & Blue Week! Dressing up is optional but we love seeing all the fun outfits❤️🤍💙

🏁 Race Day Reminders – Week 2 (4/19)

We’re excited for another great race this Sunday! A few important reminders to help things run smoothly:

⏱️ Arrive early – races move quickly and we do NOT re-run races
👟 Run your assigned race based on grade (Pre-K by age group)
🎽 Bibs must be fully filled out (name, age/grade, gender)
✅ If you already have your bib & t-shirt, you can go straight to your starting line

🚫 Please stay out of the finish line area unless racing
🚫 Do not hang on finish line flags (we want to keep everyone safe!)

💚 HKRS is all about fun, encouragement, and community. Race results are managed by our coordinators and volunteers and are final. We appreciate your support in keeping this a positive experience for all kids!

Let’s work together to keep race day safe, fun, and organized for all runners 💚

What an amazing kickoff to our Healthy Kids Running Series – Eden Prairie season! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Thank you to all the families who came out for our first race. We loved seeing so many smiling faces, first-time runners, and returning participants.

A HUGE thank you to our incredible volunteers 💚 We truly couldn’t do this without you. From check-in to the finish line to cheering along the course, you made everything run smoothly and created such a positive experience for all of our runners.

We’re already looking forward to Week 2. See you Sunday, 4/19 @ 4:00!

We’re so excited to kick off our first Healthy Kids Running Series – Eden Prairie race today at Staring Lake Park!

A few quick reminders:
🔔 Important! If you did NOT come to packet pickup at Scheels on 4/10, you must come at least 20 min before 4PM to ensure you have time to check in before the races start.

🕓 Races start at 4 PM (arrive early—races move fast!)
📍 Staring Lake Park
🎽 Bring your race bib (make sure it’s filled out at the bottom !)
⏱️ Races run in order from youngest to oldest
👏 Get ready for lots of cheering, energy, and fun!

We can’t wait to see everyone out there—let’s kick off an awesome season!
