It’s time for Tuesday’s Tails with BCA 👏🐾💙

Today we have assistance dog-in-training Elliot who is working on the cue “put”! The goal of this cue is for the dog to place an object in their mouth and onto an indicated service. This is a cue that can be used in various real life scenarios making it essential! This can be used for object cleanup/retrieval or for assisting a graduate who may have limited mobility with specific tasks. Keep up the great work Elliot 💙

Field Trip FUN! 👏😊💙

🐾 A little fresh air between training sessions and naps! 🐾

As part of the Blue Coat Academy, our Assistance Dogs in training take daily walks in between their training sessions—and, of course, their well-deserved naps! 😴🐶

These walks are an important part of their day, giving our dogs time to get out, explore, practice their skills, and enjoy a little adventure.

Here are a few highlights from some recent walks! 📸🐾
