Thank you, Eau Claire! Yesterday The Vote Is Sacred Bus Tour stopped at Lake Street United Methodist Church, and it was a great chance to make community connections and have real conversations about election protection.

Thank you to Chippewa Valley Votes for bringing voting resources, to the community members and clergy who joined us, and to our friends from MARCH, Interfaith Alliance’s Minnesota affiliate, who drove over to be with us. And a big thank you to Interfaith Alliance for including Wisconsin on the tour and for their continued support of our work across the state.

Gubernatorial candidates David Crowley and Tom Tiffany will meet for a debate hosted by WISN-TV in partnership with WisPolitics-State Affairs.

3rd Congressional District Candidates Derrick Van Orden & Rebecca Cooke meet for a debate hosted by Eau Claire Area Chamber of Commerce in partnership with WEAU.

Our volunteers were at two events on the mall at UW-Eau Claire recently meeting lots of students and making new friends . Over the next two plus weeks we will have volunteers at UW-Eau Claire McIntyre Library helping student get ready for the November 3 election.

We’re at Lake Street Methodist in Eau Claire this morning by invitation of the Interfaith Alliance. They have a group travelling 9,000 miles on The Vote is Sacred bus—the bus tour originated in St. Louis. From here they are headed to Madison, to Milwaukee and then Detroit.
