We Thank You for Your Continued Generosity! Weβve updated our list of needs and have included some comments that our patrons have shared with us over the last couple of years. We may take some of the items that we regularly purchase for granted. For those in need, any one of these items (on the list below) can make a big difference when our patrons visit our pantry.
So many have been so generous in the past and if you have the means to help us we would appreciate it. πππ
Please find the following needed items (pictured) and on our list. Please see the items below. We have been fortunate to regularly receive staple items β (We do not need Tuna Fish, Peanut Butter, Beans, Pasta, Cereal, Campbellβs Chicken Noodle Soup, Rice, and Dry Beans)
πWe Need:π
1. Coffee/Tea -- Our patrons appreciate starting the day with coffee or tea before work.
2. Ketchup -- Ketchup is always in high demand by our patrons and families.
3. Ramen Noodles -- Patrons like Ramen Noodles as they can be made quickly for lunch or dinner.
4. Mayonnaise/Mustard -- Patrons appreciate condiments to help flavor some of the food items they receive.
5. Sugar/Flour β smaller size (5lb or smaller) -- Allows our patrons to bake for their families, and sugar and flour are expensive items for our patrons to buy.
6. Jarred Pasta Sauce-- Allows patrons to make a quick meal with Pasta or spaghetti that we provide for themselves or their families.
7. Cooking Oil β Olive, Vegetable, or Canola -- Patrons can use Cooking oil for cooking, baking, and salads.
8. Laundry detergent -- Patrons appreciate it when we have laundry detergent available for them. It is costly to purchase in the store.
9. Snack items -- Cookies, Crackers, Granola bars, protein bars, etc. Whether they are Sweet or Salty - Snacks always make our patrons smile. :-)
10. Juice -- 64 oz. bottles of apple, cranberry, grape juice β shelf stable.
11. Toiletries -- Razors, Shaving Cream, Bath Soap, Shampoo, Body Wash, Toothpaste, Deodorant, and Feminine Products are always appreciated by patrons as they are costly to purchase in the store.
12. Cake, Brownie, Muffin or Cookie Mixes -- Easy-to-bake mixes always make our patrons smile.
13. Progresso Soups or Canned Chili -- The larger size Progresso Soups or Chili are appreciated by patrons since they can make a quick meal for lunch or dinner.
14. Hot Sauce, BBQ Sauce, Salad Dressing, Soy Sauce, Teriyaki -- Allows patrons to help flavor or spice up some of the food items they receive.
Items can be dropped off:
1.) On the dates when we are open (Monthly on the 2nd/4th Wednesday & Saturday)
and/or
2.) In the vestibule of St. Dorothea Church/Church of the Precious Blood during the times when the churches are open. - 732-542-0148
