🔵⚪️ WELCOME TO THE FIRST TEAM, ANDREW ARNOLD JR.
Some players earn your attention with potential. Others start turning that potential into production.
At just 17 years old, Andrew Arnold Jr. is doing both.
Andrew joins Lake Country United FC from McDonough, Georgia, where he has already established himself as one of the area's most productive young attacking players. A striker/winger who can also play as an attacking midfielder, Andrew is the all-time scoring record holder at Union Grove High School, a First Team All-Region selection and an All-State Game selection.
But our history with Andrew goes back much further than the numbers.
We've watched him develop over several years — through difficult matches, championship moments, bigger challenges and opportunities to play above his age group. We've watched a talented young player gradually become a competitor who expects more from himself.
This summer, Andrew made the commitment to become part of Lake Country United FC's U19 Academy team — making the drive from McDonough to Lake Country because he believes in where this program can help take him.
And he's already earning opportunities beyond the Academy.
Andrew has now appeared in two matches with our First Team and has already scored his first First Team goal. At 17.
That's what our pathway is supposed to look like.
The Academy develops the player.
The First Team provides another challenge.
And if you're good enough, you're old enough.
Andrew has ambitions of playing college soccer, becoming a professional and, ultimately, earning an opportunity to represent Haiti internationally.
There is a long road between where he stands today and those goals — and he knows it. But he's willing to work for it.
We're excited about what Andrew can bring to our U19s this season, and we're equally excited to continue giving him opportunities to compete with our First Team when they're earned.
He's not here because of what we think he might become someday.
He's here because he's earned the opportunity to take the next step.
