FINISH WHAT WE STARTED.

On January 17, 2026 dozens of players arrived at tryouts chasing an opportunity.

Over the next five months, a team was built.

Friendships were formed. Challenges were overcome. Lessons were learned. A brotherhood was created.

Now only one match remains.

This Saturday at 7:30 PM, Lake Country United FC travels to Finley Stadium in Chattanooga, Tennessee to face Chattanooga FC in the UPSL Georgia Division 1 Championship.

A trophy is on the line.

Promotion to the UPSL Premier Division is on the line.

But more than that, the pride of our club, our families, our supporters, and our community is on the line.

The work has been done.

The preparation is complete.

The focus is clear.

Now we finish what we started.

Wednesday night wasn't about the score.

It was about measuring ourselves against one of the strongest UPSL organizations in the Southeast.

For 90 minutes, our players competed against experienced professionals, former college standouts, and players who have performed at levels many of our young men hope to reach one day. And for 68 minutes, we led the match. In the end we were defeated on the scoreboard - but only on the scoreboard. .

Why did we schedule the match?

To learn.

To grow.

To see the standard.

And to remind ourselves that we belong in these environments.

The result wasn't what we wanted.

The lessons were exactly what we needed.

Now our focus turns to the UPSL Georgia South Division Championship next Saturday in Chattanooga against Chattanooga FC.
