Hello, Cheston families!

We will have several opportunities throughout the **2026–2027 school year** for parents and guardians to volunteer at **Cheston Elementary School** and help with PTA activities, school events, and field trips. We would LOVE to have you! ❤️

Getting your volunteer requirements completed ahead of time means you’ll be ready when opportunities become available!

🔴 **STEP 1: EASD VOLUNTEER APPLICATION**

Start by visiting the EASD Volunteer page and completing the **Volunteer Application Form**:

🔵 **STEP 2: PA CRIMINAL HISTORY CLEARANCE**

Complete your Pennsylvania State Police Criminal History check:

🟡 **STEP 3: CHILD ABUSE CLEARANCE**

Complete your Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance:

🟢 **STEP 4: FBI FINGERPRINTING — IF REQUIRED**

If you have lived in Pennsylvania for **10 consecutive years or longer**, you may not need FBI fingerprinting.

If you have lived in Pennsylvania for **less than 10 consecutive years**, you will need to complete the FBI Criminal History/Fingerprinting requirement.

🩺 **STEP 5: TB TEST / MEDICAL CLEARANCE**

A **current TB requirement must also be completed** along with your volunteer clearances.

You will need to provide either:

❤️ Proof of a **negative tuberculin skin test**, OR
❤️ A statement from your medical provider indicating that you are **free of or considered low-risk for communicable tuberculosis**.

📞 **HAVING TROUBLE GETTING A TB TEST?**

You can contact **Valley Health Partners (VHP)** to make an appointment.

Tell them you need a **TB Test for volunteering at Cheston Elementary School/PTA.**

Scott Park Larry Holmes Drive 12 to 3 my annual back-to-school rally with free backpacks tons of giveaways, raffling off five free bicycles, free haircuts. A bounce house. we are set up, starting at 12 PM.
