Good morning MVS community!!

‼️ We are only one week away from our first PTO meeting of the 2026-2027 school year, yay! Please consider joining us and contributing your ideas for our new annual calendar, our art fundraiser, our fast approaching Back to School bash event, Trunk or Treat and even more events and activities in the works! We would love to hear about your talents and ways to be a part of all things student enrichment this year!

We hope to see you at the MVS middle school cafeteria next Wednesday, September 9th at 6:30p!! 🤞🏽

Open House this week! Come visit us Tuesday-Thursday from 3-6 pm to see what we’re all about before we leave for vacation. Free to visit, $20 for a session. Learn about our upcoming programs, schedules, memberships and more.

🌞 Happy Tuesday MVS community!

🌱 Those who came out so far this summer to help with all our garden maintenance, thank you for your time! But…there is still some clean up to be done in the middle school garden, so another garden party date is set!! 🪏

🙏🏻 There is still some w**ding to be done in order to get ready for the start of the school year and we could use your help one more time to finish up the bulk w**ding!

🗓️ Come join the crew this Saturday, September 5th from 9-11:00am to help w**d our middle school garden. You do not need to come for the whole time. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out! 😃

‼️It’s that time of year again!! Back to School!!

🚌 📚 We will be holding a Back to School Bash to welcome students back and kick off the new school year!! Save the date for September 18th from 5:00-7:00pm in the MVS parking lot!!

Here’s a list of just a few fun activities to look forward to if you join us:

💦 Drench Bench! Grab some tickets for the opportunity to soak some of our prominent MVS celebrities!

🎟️ Raffles

🍕 Pizza!

And more!!

All proceeds will go towards helping fund MVS school enrichment activities such as extra curricular school programs, field trips, field day and more!

Welcome Kindergartners!! 🏫

We had so much fun over the last few weeks in August welcoming our newest MVS students; our kindergarteners! They all seemed so excited to start school, meet their teachers, practice riding the bus and meet some of their classmates before school starts for them next week!

In the shuffle, this bear friend was left on the playground by accident. If anyone recognizes this bear or claims it, please share or reach out so we can get it back to the student who is missing it ASAP! Thanks MVS community!!

Hello MVS community!!

🏫 Just like our students are headed back to school and need to fulfill their classroom supplies list, so do our teachers and staff and these are some of their favorite things! Once again, as the school year is about to start, we at the PTO would like to take a minute and appreciate our teachers and staff to kick off the year with a bang!

🙏🏻 We are reaching out to you all in hopes that you can help us fill up the teacher lounges and supply closets to help make this school year start a smooth transition for everyone! Please consider browsing this wishlist and putting an item or two in the cart for our amazing teachers and staff!

📦 Each item purchased from the list can be shipped directly to a PTO member to give us an opportunity to stock the teacher lounges and supplies before school starts for a successful beginning of the school year! Happy Summer MVS community!! 🌞

💥We have some exciting news to finish your summer with a bang and already kick off the school year with some MVS fun!!

🙌🏽 All incoming Kindergarten students and their families are invited to play with their new friends and future classmates at our MVS PTO Kindergarten Play dates!

🛝 August 11th 5-6:30pm
🚌 August 20th 3-4:30pm *Try a practice bus ride!!
🧑🏽‍🏫👨🏼‍🏫August 26th 2-3:30pm *Meet your teachers!!

All playdates take place on the Mountain View Elementary playground (garden table set up behind the school and play on the playground).
