‪A good turn out and new faces at Talk & Tinker Tuesday.

A younger member made a multi-disciplinary post-reductionist sculpture, Fabric was domesticated, the Woodworking Station was upgraded and many future plans were discussed.

Ever want to learn how to pick a lock? Learn the basics of how locks and keys work, and how they can be manipulated open. We will have locks and loaner picks to practice with. We will provide demonstrations and help beginners pick their first lock. Already know how to pick locks? Don't worry, we've got some more challenging locks for you too, so come share your knowledge with us!
We'll also have some supplies and tools to try your hand at making your own lockpicks, and some tips on where to pick up (literally) the supplies you need for it.

Locksport is a fun and relaxing hobby exploring locks and related equipment as a puzzle to be solved. These tools and skills should only be used on locks you own which are not in use. We do not promote or condone any unauthorized or illegal activities.

Fiber arts jam session - current theme: Darn it!
Moth holes got you down? Repair your cozy socks and sweaters at MakeFixHack! Small holes, tears and snags can be easily repaired with simple techniques.

All fiber arts welcome, not limited to darning!

Please arrive promptly so you'll have plenty of time to work, and if someone pulled a loose thread and your whole sweater unraveled ScoobyDoo-style, we unfortunately won't be able to handle that repair tonight.

We're doing it again this week! Come check out our new space, bring something to work on or fix, check out some gadgets, pick a lock, or just chat about what excites you about our new space.
We’re still working on getting things set up, but we already have all the usual small hand tools, test equipment, soldering irons, lockpicks, and such from previous events at the Co-op, but also real work benches, a sewing machine, a small but growing maker library, a comfy couch, 3d printers, a growing collection of spare electronics parts, and more! The one thing we don’t have anymore, however, is a grocery store right outside the door, so remember to bring something to drink and/or a snack if you’ll need one. Local Burger is right upstairs too, if you find yourself unexpectedly hungry
