Let us tell you about last night at La Parma in Oceanside. The Long Island Southwest Kiwanis Lt. Governor Michael Glinner hosted a visit with the New York District Kiwanis 2025-2026 Governor Carla Ingram.
The photos by John Chen capture the spirit of the evening and all the enthusiastic energy of the attending club members. Special guests from Long Island South Central division DPLTG Kevin and Matt Kamper were in attendance Kevin shared the good works of the  Kiwanis Children’s Fund grants and Matt created excitement for future Aktion club collaborations.
The other club reports highlighted a recent Aktion Club Event, Kamp Kiwanis current progress, Kiwanis pediatric trauma foundation up coming events , the Pediatric Lyme disease foundations future and recent Lt. Governors trainig for incoming Lt.Gov Dan Gilloon. The next divisional will be June date and location tbd.

Sharing our 2025-2026 Governors Project GOALS of collection for foster care with the community. A special THANKS goes out to East Rockaway Public Library for allowing our blessing box to be filled over the last month with many items needed. The collection includes undergarments, pajamas, backpacks, blankets, coats, sweatpants, flannel shirts, belts, even a few hats!! The box is overflowing and so are we with gratitude!!! JOIN US

The 2025-26 Governor Carla Ingrams Blessing Bags for foster kids going to Kamp Kiwanis-NY District Kiwanis Foundation, Inc.-Taberg, NY collaboration with the Centre Ave Kkids club Kiwanis K-Kids was a complete success they collected more than 100 items consisting of socks, books, crayons, blankets, toiletries, backpacks and other much needed Kamp accessories. Thanks to kids like these others will have what they need!
