INFRAMARK TEAMSTERS OVERWHELMINGLY RATIFY CONTRACT

Teamsters Local 251 members at the Fall River MA waste water treatment plant, contracted out to Inframark, recently ratified a 3 year successor contract. The plant operators, maintenance workers, collections system workers and electricians secured strong wage increases, improved Teamster Pension benefits, solidified reduced Teamster Healthcare costs, improved differentials & stipends, and strengthened contractual protections. The plant had been run by Veolia for a long time, but Inframark won the bid for services in 2024, and this was the first full negotiation with the company.

TEAMSTERS WOMEN’S COMMITTEE HOSTS ANOTHER FUN TRUNK OR TREAT

The Teamsters Local 251 Women's Committee hosted another fun Trunk or Treat this Halloween season. Families came out for treats, fun costumes and trunks, sharing participants among other community Trunk or Treats in the area.

Drivers and mechanics at the Pawtucket RI location of Teknor Apex recently ratified a new 5 year successor contract. Along with strong wage increases, additional vacation time, and strong job protections; members solidified fully paid Teamster healthcare benefits.
