For eight decades, the East LA Mexican Independence Day Parade & Festival has been the heartbeat of our community. Families have lined Cesar Chavez Avenue generation after generation, watching folkloric dancers, marching bands, and equestrian units carry the spirit of Mexico through the streets of East Los Angeles.
