"We reserve the right to refuse service."
At our events, meetings, and any functions, we will remove people not on our check-in list, causing disturbances, intoxicated, and harassing others.
1. Removing People Not on the Check-in List: We have the right to set access rules, such as a check-in list. People not on the list, or those refusing to comply with our entry policies, are trespassers and will be asked to leave.
2. Removing People Causing Disturbances
Disruptive conduct, including bypassing check-in, sneaking in, shouting, arguing, fighting, making a mess, speaking loudly over speakers, or making other patrons uncomfortable.
3. Removing Intoxicated Individuals:
To provide a safe environment, we have the right to refuse service to, or remove, someone who is clearly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, as they pose a safety hazard.
4. Removing People Harassing Others
Harassment, threats, or verbal abuse of patrons, employees or event organizers is illegal and justifies immediate removal.
A nonprofit organization can deny someone entry to an event. Nonprofits may restrict entry for reasons like safety, disruptive behavior, or misalignment with the organization's mission, and have the right to curate their own events.
Key Considerations for Denying Entry:
Safety and Order: Nonprofits can exclude individuals who threaten safety or cause disturbances.
Mission Alignment: Organizations can deny entry to those whose actions or views do not align with the organization's mission, values, or purpose.
Sonia R. Santana from GHS Class of 1983 on 4/8/2015 and 4/23/26 has been banned from all JBSF events and functions. Sonia will be removed from our events and meetings.
