A recent Connecticut news story involving Benadryl and other over-the-counter medications serves as an important reminder that medication safety extends beyond prescriptions.

All medications, including over-the-counter products, can pose risks. Misuse, accidental ingestion, and overdose can happen with any medication, making safe storage, proper use, and safe disposal important for every household.

Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to join Rep. Rosa DeLauro’s 2026 Community Resource Fair, connecting with community members and sharing resources focused on prevention, mentoring, and youth well-being.
