Ovarian cancer remains one of the most challenging gynecologic cancers to detect early. In 2026, more than 20,000 women in the United States are expected to be diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Behind every statistic is a mother, daughter, sister, friend, or loved one whose life may be forever changed by this disease.

Because there is currently no routine screening test for ovarian cancer, awareness is critical. Knowing the symptoms: persistent bloating, pelvic or abdominal pain, difficulty eating or feeling full quickly, and urinary changes can help women seek medical attention sooner.

Today, on National Cancer Survivors Day, we celebrate the incredible strength, courage, and resilience of every cancer survivor.

A cancer diagnosis changes lives, but survivors show us what it means to keep moving forward even in the face of uncertainty. They are fighters, advocates, inspirations, and reminders that hope is stronger than fear.

“Strength doesn’t come from what you can do. It comes from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn’t.”

To every survivor: your journey matters, your story has power, and your perseverance inspires us all. Today we honor your victories, remember those we have lost, and stand beside those still fighting.

Join us in celebrating the warriors, survivors, and thrivers who remind us every day that courage can shine through even the darkest moments.
