Last month, Flutter Club received a call from a local hospital about a young person under the age of 40 experiencing heart failure who needed to get to a major hospital in Boston for an entire week of testing to receive an official diagnosis and determine a potential course of treatment.
They would be traveling with their wife and daughter.
But there was one major barrier: this family had no way to get there.
We immediately jumped into action. 💙
Flutter Club approved Roy, Katie, and their daughter to travel together, at no cost to their family.
We prepared care packages for all three of them, and Monday morning, The Flutter Express brought their family to Boston. That Friday afternoon, we were there to bring them home together.
This is why Flutter Club exists.
Transportation and financial barriers should never stand between someone and the healthcare they need. And during some of life’s most frightening and uncertain moments, families should have the opportunity to make these journeys together.
