In honor of America's 250th Anniversary, visit the special Tabor House Museum - Gilmer County Historical Society display at Ellijay's Downtown Welcome Center and take a walk through key moments in our nation's history.

This commemorative exhibit will be on display through the end of July, offering residents & visitors alike an opportunity to reflect on the people, events, and milestones that have shaped our country.

Learning today to help shape a stronger tomorrow for Gilmer County!

Gilmer Chamber Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, Addie Garner, and Gina Bennett with the Gilmer County Board of Commissioners recently attended the 2026 Northwest Georgia Outdoor Recreation Summit in Emerson, Georgia.

The summit brought together leaders from across the region to share ideas, explore best practices, and discuss how outdoor recreation can support economic vitality, community development, and quality of life!

Opportunities like this allow us to bring new perspectives, valuable connections, and fresh ideas back to Gilmer County as we continue working to support local businesses, strengthen our community, and invest in a thriving future.

Our June Network Luncheon, sponsored by United Community, brought together Chamber members, business professionals, and community leaders at the ETC Pavilion for an afternoon of networking and learning.

Attendees heard from Jay Rajaee and Jason Jones with United Community as they shared important information on fraud protection, helping businesses and individuals stay informed on today’s evolving security challenges.

🍎 Donate a Door Prize – Drop off gifts, gift cards, or certificates (valued at $20 or more) at our East Ellijay office. We’ll surprise teachers with monthly giveaways all year long! No deadline to donate, but please ensure certificates expire no sooner than 7/31/2027.

We were honored to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Roo Mountain Vineyards - The Roost Bistro alongside community leaders, ambassadors, friends, and supporters!

The Roost brings a new culinary experience to the region, featuring elevated mountain gourmet cuisine with a focus on fresh, locally sourced ingredients designed to pair beautifully with their wines and ciders.
