I want to celebrate the amazing and incredible evening we had together. Please know that if your name is not listed, it is absolutely not because your contribution was not meaningful.
I simply was not in every area throughout the evening, but I still want you to know how appreciated you are because this evening was truly an off-the-charts success.
There truly are not enough words to fully express the gratitude we feel after Sweet Faith | Journey with J.
This evening came together because an incredible community of people chose to show up with willing hearts, servant spirits, generosity, creativity, hard work, encouragement, prayer, and love for this mission and for the young women we serve at J127 Ministry.
To Hallie, Hannah, Chelsea, Troy, Kiera, Daniel, Greg, Ethan, Amanda, Jon, Keisha, and the servers who were absolutely busting it in the kitchen and at the tables throughout the evening, thank you. Service for the evening was handled by so many wonderful people, but I especially want to mention Hallie, Chelsea, Kiera, Troy, Greg, Daniel, and so many others who were truly critical to the ex*****on of the evening.
From helping plate and serve food, to ongoing desserts, cleaning up, organizing, and stepping into whatever was needed throughout the night, they helped keep the entire evening moving forward smoothly.
Thank you also to Troy, Greg, and Daniel for helping ensure things were handled well behind the scenes. Those details mattered more than you know.
To Kristen, Tiffany, Ryan, Abby, Shelley with Prices Printing, Jon, Brittney, Leah Anne, Amanda, Crystal, Keisha, Malena, Dorothy, Aurora, Susie King’s kids, our residents, and so many others who helped wherever there was a need, thank you.
Then we had those like Charlotte that also hosted, served, to carrying dishes, decorating, organizing, making phone calls, making pickups, setting up, and cleaning afterward, so many of you helped carry this event from vision into reality.
Hallie, Chelsea, Wendy, residents, and others helped pull the open bedrooms and house preparation together so beautifully. Hallie, Hannah, Conner, Leah Anne, Amy, Ellen, Amanda, Rocky, Wendy, Kelly, and many others also spent countless hours making phone calls, helping secure support, and helping prepare for the evening long before guests arrived.
Many including Rocky’s team, David, Jeremy, Greg, Hallie, Hannah, Kristen, Daniel, Ryan, Troy, Ethan, Jon, Amanda, Keisha, Brittney, Crystal, Wendy, residents, Shelley with Prices Printing, and many others worked tirelessly behind the scenes before, during, and after the event, and for that I am incredibly grateful.
Truly so many sacrificed personal time, family time, energy, sleep, comfort, and your own schedules to help carry this event from vision into reality.
You lifted heavy things.
You moved tables, couches, and decorations.
You hauled supplies.
You answered phones.
You made pickups.
You organized auction items.
You created plaques, posters, sponsor boards, invitations, and awareness materials.
You decorated.
You cleaned.
You served.
You stayed late.
You prayed.
You encouraged.
You provided live and silent auction items.
You provided entertainment through Chosen Stones Band, Gather Around, Pearl Snap Auctioneer, MC Kristen, and so many others.
All of you filled the room with your presence, and what a joy it was to have you there. You stepped in and filled gaps before anyone even had to ask.
To our prayer warriors, thank you for covering this ministry, this event, and these young women in prayer long before guests ever walked through the doors. Your prayers mattered more than you know.
Thank you to Leah Anne’s gardeners who planted trees and to Darryl’s mowing team for helping prepare the grounds and create such a beautiful and welcoming environment.
Thank you to Rocky Clark, David, and Jeremy for the countless hours poured into helping complete the pavilion and bring the vision to life.
Thank you to Pearl Snap Auctioneer for bringing heart, energy, and excitement to the live auction. Thank you to Chosen Stones Band for creating such a beautiful atmosphere throughout the evening.
Thank you to Roma’s for providing dinner. Thank you to Larita for preparing chicken alfredo and to Shelly for lovingly making lasagna. Thank you to everyone throughout the community who baked, created, and donated desserts for the evening.
A very special thank you also goes to several of our residents who worked incredibly hard as “boots on the ground” throughout the entire event. Serving alongside everyone, I witnessed what can happen when a caring community comes together. The evening at J127 was incredibly special and something many of us, including myself, will never forget.
This was a beautiful example of a caring community coming together to help young women move toward healing, stability, and independence. It is clear that mentors, volunteers, sponsors, churches, community partners, staff, and supporters each play an important and meaningful role in the story being written at J127 Ministry every single day.
This evening was about far more than an event.
It was about creating safety.
It was about creating opportunity.
It was about creating healing.
It was about creating hope.
Because of all of you, young women who have experienced trauma, instability, and hardship were reminded that they are seen, valued, supported, and loved by an entire community standing behind them.
We are incredibly grateful for each and every person who helped make this evening possible. 💛
