❤️ A GIGANTIC THANK YOU TO OUR SHERWOOD YOUTH ASSOCIATION VOLUNTEERS! ❤️
Now that our three day Summer Festival has come to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize the people who made it all possible… our incredible SYA members and volunteers.
For three days straight, our volunteers showed up to set up, tear down, clean up, and then turn around and set it all back up again the next day. It takes an unbelievable amount of work behind the scenes to put on an event like this, and we are so grateful for every person who gave their time and energy.
Thank you to everyone who worked tirelessly in the kitchen and behind the grills, making sure our guests didn’t just eat… they ate WELL! And something we are especially proud of: all of the food served at our festival is prepared right here, on site, in our own kitchen. It is not delivered or catered. Our volunteers cook it, prepare it and serve it with a whole lot of love.
And thank you to the volunteers doing the jobs most people never see, the hauling, lifting, cleaning, organizing, running back and forth, and staying late after everyone else has gone home.
We are incredibly proud of what our little association can accomplish when everyone works together.
