Things to do on a stormy day…
We visited Abat Coffee for a coffee break, but decided to stay for lunch to wait out the storm.
We had the Tebse Zegen and the most crave-able chicken sandwich
Bon apetit to us! It’s DELICIOUS!!!

Have you visited Abat Coffee? What’s your favorite dish?

The Greater Dundalk Community Development Organization is excited to share that we have hired longtime Main Street Business Owner Laura Quintana to connect Dundalk’s Main Street businesses with resources and the community, as well as gather feedback about how best to support improvements to the historic Dundalk Village Shopping Center and the adjacent Dundalk Avenue commercial area. This part time, temporary position is funded via a grant from the State of Maryland via Baltimore County.

Follow GDCDO’s page so you don’t miss exciting upcoming networking events designed to connect community and business members, decorating and planting, and so much more! Do you have questions, comments, or other feedback? Feel free to leave a comment here, stop by Laura’s shop (7 Center Place), or send her an email: [email protected]

So, please join us in welcoming Laura to the GDCDO Team!

We had an awesome time at the Waterfront Concert in the Park over the weekend. It was great to introduce ourselves to so many new people!

Thank you to Watersedge Recreation Council & Dundalk Independence Day Parade for putting on another amazing event, and letting us tag along. The fireworks were amazing!

We launched our Dundalk Parks Passport this weekend as well. If you didn’t get a chance to stop by the waterfront concert and pick up your pass, you can stop by the Dundalk-Patapsco Neck Historical Society and Museum Inc to grab one. We will also be at Defenders Day on September 5th & 6th stamping and handing out passports.

Another big thank you to Chesapeake Bay Trust for helping us get this program started!!

The Greater Dundalk Community Development Organization is excited to announce the Dundalk Parks Passport.

Dundalk is fortunate to have so many local parks with so much to explore. Each park has its own unique story. From the family of Cooper’s Hawks nesting at Merritt Point Park, to the turtles sunbathing on logs at Stansbury Park. From 50+ years of the Heritage Fair at Heritage Park to the history of the War of 1812 that shaped places like Fort Howard and North Point State Battlefield. The GDCDO wanted to highlight the value and significance of our local parks in an engaging way.

The first step is to register for your passport using this link https://forms.gle/mbycxNJqDWz4rsMV8

Next, you can pick up your passport and earn your first stamp starting August 22nd. Stop by the Waterfront Concert in the Park at Watersedge Park or any other Dundalk Parks Passport eligible events to grab your pass. You can also pick up your passport at the Dundalk-Patapsco Neck Historical Society located at 4 Center Place. Their hours of operation are Mon-Fri 10AM-4PM and Sat 10AM-1PM.

Continuing earning stamps by attending various events throughout the parks in Dundalk over the next few months. Reach milestones on your passport to get fun rewards!

If you want to share any memories you make while participating in the Dundalk Parks Passport use when posting on social media.
