Preventatives need to be bought. Vet bills need to be paid. Bellies need to be filled. Utilities need to stay on. And apparently NONE of these companies accept puppy kisses as legal tender. RUDE. 😂

🐾 They’ve been waiting since before they were even born… 💔

These pups were born right here in our rescue, and rescue is the only home they’ve ever known.

They’ve grown up safe. They’ve been loved. They’ve watched other dogs leave with their forever families. And now, they’re beyond ready for someone to choose THEM. 🏡❤️

They’re at such a wonderful age for training, bonding, adventures, and becoming the dog who feels like they’ve always belonged in your family.

They shouldn’t have to grow up in rescue.

✨ Adopt. Foster. Share. ✨
Even if you can’t bring one home, sharing their faces might put them in front of the person who can.

Their whole lives have been leading up to finding a family.

Maybe that family is yours. 🐶❤️

I tell you what. People complain that rescues make it “so hard” to adopt a dog. But man, with how easily people give up and return their dogs when the going gets tough, I don’t think it’s hard enough. If you don’t want to have to go through a rigorous application process, go buy a random puppy from a crappy breeder and see what happens in 6 months when you are ready to get rid of the dog. They won’t answer your calls. They won’t help you. We will always lovingly welcome our dogs back to our home.
For those of you have seen your pet through the hard times, through the good and the bad, who never give up …THANK YOU. 🤍🤍🤍
So…..
We are cracking down on our adoption rules and process. I’m sick of quitters taking dogs and treating them like they are disposable when they don’t want to do the work anymore. If that’s not you, then I’m not talking about you. And if this offends you, then bye. Because I care about the dogs. Not about appeasing human emotions and feelings. The dogs deserve better. Quitters will not be allowed to adopt our dogs. They deserve families. And families don’t give up on each other. Sorry, not sorry.

Remember Bo, the Aussie doodle that we brought in last week who was completely matted and had been neglected for two years? Well, you wouldn’t recognize him today thanks to the amazing generous help of our friend Belynda over at Doodles And Whiskers pet spa. I can’t thank her enough for taking on this job. This boy has been quite a handful. Completely unsocialized, which means he bites at random and has not been easy to handle. I also have to give a lot of credit to my Foster Heidi who I had only asked to take him for the weekend since I was going to be out of town town, but she has insisted on continuing to help with him despite being bitten multiple times. We are working with a trainer to get this boy some help and so far things are going pretty good and I think there is hope for this boy. I’m looking forward to his progress and will keep you posted. If you are looking for an amazing loving Groomer for your dog, I can’t recommend Belynda enough. Please give her a call if you need her help. You won’t be disappointed.
