🇺🇸 250 years. Not a single one possible without those who stepped forward to protect and defend it.

On this Independence Day - and the 250th anniversary of the nation - we honor every service member, veteran, first responder, and their families…all those who carry the weight of freedom on their shoulders.

At Hyperformance Foundation, our mission doesn’t pause for holidays. We exist to fuel what comes after service - to help our defenders recover, compete, and thrive through the power of sport, recreation, and community.

This Memorial Day, we pause to reflect on the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage, selflessness, and legacy will never be forgotten.

We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone in the community who came out and supported our 48 Hours for Our Heroes event this weekend. Your support, generosity, and willingness to stand alongside our mission means more than words can express.

To those who rolled in memory of fallen service members, thank you for carrying their stories, their sacrifice, and their legacy forward in such a powerful way. Moments like these remind us that community, purpose, and remembrance are stronger when shared together.

Today, we honor the fallen.
Tomorrow, we continue living in a way worthy of their sacrifice.

Our thoughts, prayers, and our solemn condolences this morning are with the family of Robert Kilduff Jr., or simply BK, as we all knew him. And, with his brother and sister firefighters on and across all the departments and organizations BK impacted. Ours being one.

BK was a USMC veteran, a third generation Boston firefighter, an active volunteer with many organizations, and one of our earliest supporters.

BK was killed in the line of duty responding to a 3 alarm fire Saturday night. “Boston lost a hero tonight,” he represented the best of us and his calling to serve brought him into our lives, and we were made better for the opportunity to serve alongside him in the work and missions we believe in.

Marine veteran. Double above-knee amputee. Paralympic medalist. Endurance athlete.

That’s 🇺🇸

After losing both legs in Afghanistan while serving as a Combat Engineer in the United States Marine Corps, Rob refused to let adversity define him. Since then, he’s become a Paralympic bronze medalist, completed 31 marathons in 31 days, and continues to inspire veterans and civilians across the country through grit, purpose, and relentless determination.

Now Rob is joining us for 48 Hours for Our Heroes as Professor Charles of Gracie Barra Leesburg attempts to grapple for 48 HOURS STRAIGHT to break his own world record and raise funds for the Hyperformance Foundation mission.

Join us Memorial Day Weekend at in Leesburg, VA as Professor Charles Gomes sets ANOTHER world record this time it’s 48-hour BJJ training session in support of wounded veterans! All donations will go directly to programs that bring life changing sports and recreation opportunities to our nation’s defenders.

At the halfway mark we will hold a 3-hour festival in the parking lot with a motorcycle show, live music, climbing wall, bounce houses and more, as well as kids jiu jitsu classes in the gym while Professor continues to train towards the record.

We have many sponsorship packages available that include your employees participation in the record itself.
