We're so excited to host two of Pawsitive Pawformance's performances of BRIGHT STAR on March 28th 29th.

Tickets are now on sale for our production of Bright Star, written by Steve Martin and Edie Brickell. Proceeds from this performance will benefit the Humane Society of the New River Valley.

Join us March 21 and March 22 at The Draper Mercantile, 3054 Greenbriar Road, Draper, VA.

There will be a silent auction starting at 4:30 PM, dinner at 5:30 PM, and the show begins at 7:00 PM.

Thank you so much to all of the wonderful employees of the Office of the Public Defenders Office in Pulaski. They came together to donate pet food for our food pantry at the Humane Society of the New River Valley.

All we want for Christmas is help filling our food pantry - and you can help. Please go to Kroger in Fairlawn - they have allowed us to put up a Christmas tree so you can purchase the cat and dog food.. (or paper towels - or toilet paper - or bleach - or laundry detergent.... ) and put it under our tree. Thank you in advance for helping us.

Evelyn’s Lemon-Aid Stand update!!!!

On August 2nd Evelyn had her Lemon-Aid stand to help raise money for the Humane Society of the New River Valley with the hopes of raising $1,000 for the "Spay-it-Forward" program. Evelyn wanted to help others get their pets spay/neutered like the Humane Society did for her dog Xena.
Today she delivered a check for $1,300 to the Humane Society!!!
Thank you to Evelyn and everyone who donated to help Evelyn exceed her goal.
