Kimberly Lynn Jones suffered from Severe Aplastic Anemia, a very rare blood disorder and was a bone marrow transplant recipient in 2009 at Duke Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Unit. She lost her courageous battle with this disease on March 16, 2010. Kimberly was strong in her faith throughout her struggles during this illness. A true cowgirl and young lady, Kimberly inspired strength and determin

ation in all those who had the pleasure of her company. It is her family’s belief that because of her caring of others, her supportive attitude and her love of rodeo she would have been excited to assist others in their pursuit of higher education that had the same passion in Roping. Several fund raisers are held each year including a METRA sponsored roping event called the Pink Hat Classic that features several roping events, consessions, and a silent auction. We gather as many people as we can to go to Martinsville twice a year to raise funds by working the concession stands at speedway events. The continuation of the Foundation and the scholarships provided each year is reliant upon fund raising activities and donations from family, friends and the general public. If you would like to support the foundation by volunteering at activities through out the year please contact us!!

🌸Ropers: There was some NFR quality roping that occurred in that Wirtz ,Virginia arena this weekend. Way to compete Ladies and Gentlemen. We were blessed with your presence and talents. Big and Small. All 677 Teams ,14 D-Ropers, Goat Ropers and Stick pony

KJPHC26 Goat 🐐Ropers showed up and showed out! Some just fell out like fainting goats. I'm not sure some of you had exactly qualified or were just last minute entries 🤷🏻‍♀️But it looks like a time was had by all and the goats are the clear winners 🏆 😉 Thank you Zak-Katelyn Hicks for providing great livestock for this event. 🐐🐐🐐
