06/25/2026

This month alone we had ELEVEN volunteers volunteer over 10 hours each . Eleven!! We are so thankful for their hard work and dedication to our mission. Because of them it has lessened the load and we dont feel like we are carrying the world on our shoulders. At Doylestown Rescue when you volunteer over 10 hours you earn a free entree at Oma Gourd ❀️❀️

Thank you ladies!! 😊 😊😊

If you love cats please consider volunteering!

ATTENTION FOLKS WHO SIGNED UP FOR THE $25 TNR-
If you drop off next Thursday at alterclinic they MUST be picked up same day. They cannot be released the same day and you MUST hold them indoors overnight.

If you have signed up and haven't used your spot next week is the LAST week to use it! Use it or lose it!

There are currently not enough WCHS Transport sign ups to run the July 8 AlterClinic van from Wooster. 😱 We know there are lots of animals that need spayed and neutered out there. Help our community by grabbing a spot on the next low cost transport. Call the number on the flyer below to book. And please share this post!

Yesterday was just a heart breaking day. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE dont post hoping SOMEONE can do something. YOU are someone. YOU are there right now. Do not cause panic to others when you yourself did not do anything, especially when it was already too late. A cat died yesterday alone and cold because we couldn't get to it because it was under a shed. Something could have potentially been done weeks ago when it was found in this condition.

Please be nicer to rescues. Kitten season is hard but situations like this pop up all the time. See something DO something.

Returning our traps damaged and unclean in the middle of the night is just so cool!!

If this was you, give us a call to pay for the damaged traps. We will be calling you tomorrow otherwise!!

When borrowing traps from us you MUST turn them back in clean and free of damage. We cannot trap cats without working traps!!
