🐍🦔🦉 What an exciting week for our Girl Scouts! 💚

This month, many of our Girl Scout troops held their very first meetings of the new year, and we’re already off to a fantastic start! 🎉

This week, our Girl Scouts had a special visit from the Akron Mobile Zoo! 🐾 (A big thank you to Blue Macaroon Theater Company for letting us use their space). They had the opportunity to learn about three amazing animals—including what they eat, where they come from, and some fun facts about each one.

Our Scouts got to meet:

🐍 Chess the Corn Snake
🦉 Buzz the Tawny Frogmouth
🦔 Primrose the Armadillo

It was an educational, hands on experience, and everyone had a wonderful time! 💚✨

Are you ready to kick off a brand-new adventure with your girl—or take the lead in inspiring the next generation of leaders? We are officially launching our new Daisy troops for Kindergarten and 1st Grade, and we want YOU to be part of the magic! 🌈✨

Our newest Girl Scouts will dive into the heart of what scouting is all about. Through hands-on activities, outdoor fun, and their very first camping experiences, they’ll discover how to be:

💖 Friendly, helpful, considerate, and caring

🌟 Courageous, strong, honest, and fair

🌍 Respectful, responsible, and ready to make the world a better place!

Best of all, the girls get to help choose their own fun projects and activities as a group, building confidence right from the start! 🎨⛺🌱

​Looking for a high-energy, fun-loving, and active troop for your 2nd grade girl? Meet Troop 91734!

​These girls are refreshingly goofy, full of enthusiasm, and always ready to move! Whether they’re working on colorful crafts, hitting the trail for a hike, or playing action-packed games to get the wiggles out, there is never a dull moment with this group. 🎨🥾🤪

​They’ve also got big plans for the year ahead! The girls are excited to start learning cooking basics, get more involved with the local community food cupboard, and head outdoors for even more camping adventures. 🍳⛺💚

Looking for a fun, welcoming, and activity-packed squad for your middle schooler? Meet Troop 90689!

This awesome group of rising 6th graders is all about getting out into the community and making incredible memories together. Their calendar is always full of fun outings—from sleeping under the stars on camping trips and exploring the magic of Castle Noel to staying up late at the mall lock-in, grabbing sweet treats at the ice cream stand, and spreading holiday cheer with Christmas caroling! 🍦🎄⛺

Above all, these girls love laughing, sharing fun moments, and being there for one another.

If you have a girl entering 6th grade this fall who wants to try new things, step out on exciting adventures, and join a group where having fun and making friends comes first, we’d love to welcome her into the troop!

Edit: We are overwhelmed with the amount of community generosity today! Thank you all for reaching out and offering your support, including offering to help fund us to be in the parade.
Unfortunately, we will not be attending the parade this year. Due to our adults having to plan ahead we’ve all made alternate plans for that weekend. Hope to see you next year!

The Chippewa Girl Scouts are sad to announce that we will not be in the Rogues Hollow parade this year, due to the new regulations. We are a small nonprofit group and did not budget the amount requested to enter more than 5 girls/leaders in the parade. We, the leaders and all of our girls have looked forward to this amazing event every year and we will miss waving and handing out candy to all our supporters in Doylestown. If your daughter is interested in joining scouts, please reach out to the service unit here or at [email protected].

🌟 Troop Spotlight: Meet Troop 90205! 🌟

Looking for an amazing, adventurous, and creative group for your high schooler? Meet Troop 90205!

This fantastic group of rising 10th and 12th graders knows how to make the absolute most of their Girl Scout journey. One of their favorite traditions is an annual winter cabin trip where they gather to celebrate the holidays and honor Girl Scouts World Thinking Day! ❄️🏡✨

When it comes to activities, these high schoolers love a little bit of everything. They’re always up for an adventure—whether it’s rock wall climbing, hiking, canoeing, swimming, or archery—and they love unwinding together with big craft projects! 🧗‍♀️🚣‍♀️🎨

If you have a girl entering 10th or 12th grade this fall who wants to build leadership skills, try exciting new activities, and join a strong circle of friends, we would love to welcome her!
