Spring has been busy for our club. In March we started flamingo flocking again. 2 We've had a lot of fun doing it. We celebrated March birthdays at the Soroptomist Village with pizza, salad, cookies and bingo! Our Women of Distinction Awards featured some amazing women in the community. We had a booth at the Arc walk promoting club membership and our fundraiser.
The city of Downey gave us a proclamation for Women's History Month. We had a wonderful time at Camino Real Region Spring Conference. We celebrated our members who hit milestones for years of service. In April Soroptimists were spotted flocking all over the city.
This ongoing fundraiser helped make our local scholarship awards dinner a success!
