Meet Butterball aka Sadie McButterball, an 8-year-old American Bully who survived hell and somehow still came out the sweetest little baby angel lovebug imaginable. 🩷

Butterball was rescued after backyard breeders left her collapsed, gasping for air, and barely hanging on.

Emergency surgery saved her life. She also had BOAS surgery and is now breathing comfortably:)

Miss Butterball is fully medically cleared, and officially retired from motherhood forever after being spayed.

And despite everything she’s been through, this girl is PURE sunshine.

✨ Loves everyone she meets
✨ Obsessed with naps and cozy beds
✨ Great with dogs of all sizes
✨ Great with kids
✨ Cat-friendly
✨ Goofy, gentle, and incredibly affectionate

Honestly, she just wants to be loved for the rest of her life.

Now all Butterball needs is the forever home she always deserved. 🩷

The first photo is from Best Friends Animal Society’s public tax records.

PLEASE look them up and read them.

The other screenshots are just a few of the hundreds of emails and calls smaller rescues receive from people who asked Best Friends for help with injured, abandoned, or suffering animals and were told no, then redirected to us rescues already struggling to survive.

All while they sit on hundreds of millions of dollars.

So when do they say yes to helping an animal?

Usually when there’s a camera crew and a donation button attached to it.

They need the crisis to continue so they can keep raising millions for salaries.

Smaller, underfunded, boots-on-the-ground rescues like ours would love nothing more than to no longer be needed. We want the crisis to end.

Shira A2252955 is a 5 year old German Shepherd at the !

Shira has a medical condition that inhibits normal walking. In spite of that she still loves to play and loves the playgroups. Great with people and dogs. She’s a total sweetheart.

Please share, tag and repost this video so we can find a home for Sheila. I heard there is a rescue interested, but they need a long-term Foster. So perhaps you could Foster or someone you know could and we could save this girl.

Amazing and selfless shelter volunteer made this reel. Showing the REALITY OF OUR SHELTERS.

Yet another innocent, loving, beautiful baby murdered. 100% adoptable. Would have done anything just to have a family.

This is on Best Friends Animal Society and every empire like them - posing as advocates while gutting the resources from rescues actually doing the work.

Selfless volunteers giving their own money and their own hearts to care for these babies, only to watch them die anyway because of the lie these organizations keep selling.

Best Friends knows their “no kill” propaganda created this crisis. They know it kills animals. They keep it going because a solved crisis means no more donations, no more million dollar salaries, no more power.

So they lobby against mandatory spay/neuter, they control the shelter numbers, and run fake campaigns that help no one but themselves.

Shut them down.

These babies are being murdered daily in their “no kill” shelters that simultaneously raises them hundreds of millions of dollars.

HAPPY PUPDATE❤️

Benito spent two years at the South LA shelter.

When we met him, he was completely shut down. Limping, attacked in playgroup, and so defeated he had clearly given up on life.

I was at the shelter with my girl , and she looked at Benito and said, “He’s not staying here.”

I watched her completely transform this sweet boy’s life. She fostered him, loved him, healed him, and ultimately found him the most beautiful forever home. As the head of this rescue, I watched her in complete awe. We need more people like Jamie in this world. 🙏😩

Benito has now spent the last year and a half with his amazing family who absolutely adores him!

This is him today, on vacation, happily running on the beach….as he does all the time 🏖️

❤️🐶

Why does nothing ever change?

Why do so many current city council members still seem completely clueless?

Why are they still celebrating the same corrupt organizations and the same recycled “grants” that have been used to fool Los Angeles for years while our shelters continue getting worse and worse?

So what is it? A lack of willingness to learn? Or a lack of willingness to care?

Shame on you and every other council member who still has not learned.

The thousands of animals suffering and in line to be killed- on behalf of them- LEAVE US ALL ALONE!

ENOUGH. The “No Kill” narrative has become a billion-dollar PR machine that makes certain organizations hundreds of millions while animals continue suffering in cages, dying on the streets, being warehoused for years, and abandoned in record numbers.
