When he was 3 years old, Robert sustained a brain injury that left him with a subdural hematoma. The injury affected the left side of his body, including his arm, wrist, hand, and leg - something he still lives with 45 years later.

While his brain injury shaped his life, it did not define it - and it did not get the final word. "I am still here. I have worked, learned, adapted, struggled, and kept going," he says.
