Congrats to Paloma for bringing home the High Point Award for Horse Judging 🎉

The Annual 4-H Awards Ceremony was held yesterday and Paloma was presented with her trophy. This award stems from the horse judging competition at the State Fair back in July. The competition mixes horse knowledge with reasoning and public speaking skills.

Mane Course had two competitors: Paloma and Lily, who placed first and second respectively. Very proud of our club members and the work they put into the 4-H competitions and activities. Can’t wait to do it again next year!

Although we are a horse-centered club, I took the opportunity to have a STEM activity for our August meeting. The kids made solar ovens out of pizza boxes and used them to make s’mores. Such a fun, easy, and yummy activity!
