Making a paw-sitive impact! 🐾 Yesterday, Mayor James D. Stewart, Jr. stopped by Alabama Spay/Neuter to present a $3,900 check in support of the organization’s incredible work. By providing affordable spay and neuter services, they’re helping pets live healthier lives while making a lasting impact throughout our community.

We’re proud to partner with organizations that care for the four-legged members of the Irondale family and help create a brighter future for pets and their people!

26 cats and 11 dogs received needed - often life saving- medical care!!

One of the most important things FUR does is help keep pets with the families who love them. Too many people are forced to consider surrendering a pet - or worse - simply because they cannot afford veterinary care or spay/neuter. By helping with those expenses when we can, FUR helps families stay together with their pets and prevents more animals from ending up homeless, abandoned, or in overcrowded shelters. Every spay/neuter surgery we provide helps stop the cycle of an unwanted litter before it starts. Every medical bill we help pay gives a pet another chance and relieves a family that thought they had nowhere to turn.
The need is great and never ending. No animal should have to suffer.
