Last evening was the second incredible day at NBRS!!! Our first Podcast discussion on Food Justice!! Shout to NBRS team who set up the event, pulled it together, made space for our guests/participants and of course the panelists!!!

Thanx to our Moderator Tanzerious Anderson and our Film maker/Tech Support Lee Francois of FGX Studios!!!

Had two incredible days; one last Friday had a fabulous site visit from our Deputy Commissioner of Massachusetts Probation, my then Suffolk Superior Probation Officer in 2010 when I came home, the one and only Carmen Gomez!!!

I was honored this award in 2023 for “Women’s History Month” by Deputy Commissioner Gomez, although I zoomed in from Florida to accept the award, during her site visit to NBRS on Friday to presented this incredible plaque made by high school students!!

There was a time in my life I couldn’t imagine being in proximity with Criminal legal system people, but today, I’ve learned not all are bad or punisher’s!!!

I always say “Everyone should be a Carmen Gomez” she played a hell of role as my PO and is one of my dearest Sheros!!!

Join New Beginnings Reentry Services for the 5th Annual Community Resource Fair in Grove Hall. This community-centered event brings together residents, organizations, local businesses, elected officials, and service providers to support healing, opportunity, and new beginnings for formerly incarcerated individuals and families.

Enjoy free food and refreshments, live music, wellness activities, raffles and giveaways, games and crafts for children, and a relaxing community space for all ages.

Community resources and support will include:
- Housing and employment assistance
- Education and job training programs
- Health and wellness services
- Legal aid and reentry support
- Financial and family resources
