12:14am 10/13/26 Dolly crossed the Rainbow Bridge. She had fluid around her heart and all signs of FIP. This never gets any easier.

Prayers needed for Dolly. We’re headed to Boone Emergency Vet. She’s having a hard time breathing? White gums and no appetite.

Goofy little Bella LOVES playing in the covers!! Her allergies are working themselves out with proper nutrition and care. Her hair is growing back beautifully AND you can’t see 1 rib bone!!! But now she needs to loose a pound or two 😂 When will Bella find her FurEver home? Located in Butler Tn but loves a good car ride!!!

When old friends (city folk) ask “don’t you miss being close to the mall?” or “why would you want to live so far from civilization?” I then ask them how was the traffic on your way to work or how many sirens woke you up last night. THIS is the view from my work. The peace and serenity on my slow and quiet 15 minute drive to work keeps me centered and grateful for where my path has brought me. Mountain Life is what dreams are made of. It’s not for everyone, we’ve seen yall come and go and honestly we know it’s our Mountain View’s that draws you here. But it’s not for the faint of heart. I have claw marks on my car from a bear, an opossum that lives under my porch, coyotes that serenade me after work and deer everywhere. Oh and the SKUNKS, the skunks during mating season is a whole other experience! Would I change anything? Yes. I would live further in the mountains. Some day my dream of moving my little rescue by the creek to the deep woods where dogs can be dogs, bark their heads off and the cats can roam freely in their enclosed outdoor spaces. Some day 🙏🥰😻🐾❤️

Look who’s taking her first Big Girl drink out of the water dish!!! Dolly has been here 6 weeks today!!! Where has the time (and sleep) gone? Dolly is growing slowly, she still seems so small to me but she’s tripled in size, but still small for her age (approximately 7 weeks) I’m hopeful she will continue to grow and get healthier as each day goes by.
