A huge shout out from the Top Bunk to Lowe’s Home Improvement Store!

Lowe’s has an amazing partnership with sleep in Heavenly Peace; has sponsored huge builds nationwide and donated tons of lumber, tools and materials to chapters throughout the US.

Iowa County’s new chapter was recently the recipient of a very generous donation to help fund our efforts in Iowa County to make sure no kid sleeps on the floor in our town.

Thank you Lowe’s! Your generous donation to our mission does not go unnoticed. Thank you for helping families build better lives.

Our volunteers are the beautiful heart and soul of our mission, whether it is volunteering at a build, doing a delivery, creating, purchasing and assisting at a bedding drive or being a part of a fundraiser, it is a beautiful thing. Our Heartfelt Thanks to all of you.

Thanks for a Magical night! What a fun, creatively messy, successful fundraiser drawing “Northern Drift” together!

Shout out from the top bunk to Artist Robert Gorder of Charcoal Expressions LLC for engaging the group in such a fun way, breaking down a complicated drawing into steps everyone could follow and for donating half of the ticket sales for this peaceful kayaking drawing under the northern lights to our chapter.

Specia thanks to Ashley for the space and great food at the Dodger Bowl and to Everyone who came out to join us, making colorful northern lights happen while drawing for dreams.

Heartfelt Thanks and Gratitude for helping to get more kids "drifting" off to sleep in a bed of their own.

Remembering special, memory-filled moments with Grace Lutheran Church 💙

A year ago, before we were even an official SHP chapter, or had a page, Grace Lutheran Church in Dodgeville dedicated an entire month of giving to support the new Iowa County Chapter. It was our very first chance to set up a display bed for a “sleepover,” and they welcomed us with such warmth.

Their creativity and generosity truly amazed us. They even created and passed around cute small pillowcases to collect donations, helping launch us toward an incredible start.

We were truly in awe of the kindness, giving hearts and warm spirit that flowed from their church, and we remain deeply grateful for their blessings and continued support.

And the blessings continue! Grace Lutheran Church will host a Town Square Day on July 19th in downtown Dodgeville to benefit SHP once again. Save the date for a day of fun entertainment and family activities. We hope to see you there!

Don’t forget to reserve your tickets ahead of time for this June 4th awesome class/fundraiser – A Charcoal Drawing Event taking place in Dodgeville at the Dodger Bowl June 4th 6-8pm.

No experience needed. With the help of artist Robert Gorder (Charcoal Expressions LLC), he will take you on a guided drawing journey from stick figures to a peaceful kayak under the northern lights, “Northern Drift”, and make the night light colors your own.

Please plan to join us for a fun, creative night out with food and drinks available to purchase at the Dodger Bowl. The more folks that want to join us the more donations Rob will generously give to our chapter from your tickets and with your support we can help more kids get into their own beds and “drift” off to sleep under a “magical night”.

We just got 2 more kids off of the floor! What a rewarding, emotional way to serve and honor Memorial Day.

A 4-yr old boy and a 3-yr old girl greeted us with bright eyes, lots of excitement and big smiles. What a special first delivery for our new delivery team to experience. Along with Core Team members Dave and Wendy Warner, a Huge Thank you to Mike Phillips and Lori Anderson for choosing to serve this family and our community on the Memorial weekend. With serving hearts they served with purpose.

Up and over just like that, he was on the top bunk. These kids settled right in and made their beds and space their own. Two happy kiddos that will be sleeping safe, cozy and secure in their new beds thanks to your giving kindness.

We have a fun, awesome SHP Fundraiser coming up on June 4th. Get creative and a little messy playing around with charcoal as you create a charcoal drawing masterpiece.

No drawing experience is needed! Artist Robert Gorder of Charcoal Expressions LLC will guide us step by step as we draw “Northern Drift”, a peaceful kayak under the northern lights.

This fun event will be held at the Dodger Bowl in Dodgeville on June 4th from 6-8pm, and food and beverages will be available to purchase from their wonderful menu.

A special thank you to this incredible group of kindhearted seniors who are truly making a difference.

This fun-loving, card-playing group welcomed SHP to their monthly meeting, giving us the opportunity to share what SHP Iowa County has been able to accomplish with all the generous donations and all the help from dedicated volunteers across our community.

We’re so grateful that the Dodgeville Seniors Group collectively came together to donate funds to help provide a bed for a child in need, to get them off of the floor and we just got one more kiddo into their own new bed over the weekend, so heartwarming. 🛏️✨

A group that knows how to have fun and enjoy time together while also blessing children in our community, what a beautiful combination.

Kudos to our amazing community! Because of your support, another bed was delivered yesterday to a shy 7 year old boy.

When he saw his new bed, he climbed right up, smiled, and said, “I love it!” With high fives all around, we left him to enjoy sweet dreams in his very own cozy space. None of this is possible without a community that shows up and works together.

A huge thank you to Team R, the Ramthun family, for once again stepping up. From delivering beds in minus 10 degree weather to a warm 81 degrees yesterday, your dedication makes moments like this possible.

Because of you, one more kiddo woke up this morning feeling cozy, comfortable and cared for in colorful new bedding.

Together, we are making a difference, one bed, one child, one smile at a time. 🛏️✨
