This is just a note to say, Courageous Books is officially 1-year old today! We're celebrating in the store with cake and coffee, bookstore trivia, and new Courageous swag. Join us! The festivities will last all day, until 6 pm.
We wouldn't have made it this far without the devoted support of our community, all of our regulars, folks who have visited from out of town, and the artists and authors whose creations fill our store. Thank you for helping this Independent bookstore grow roots! We're grateful to be a part of the fabric of Dexter.

Fireworks on the Farm July 4th, Music, Food Trucks, & Fireworks!
Like mentioned above, our annual Fireworks on the Farm celebration is almost here!
This is a special permit event that we receive approval for each year, and it has become such a fun tradition on the farm. Last year, we sold out the day of the event and welcomed approximately 3,000 patrons.
This year feels especially meaningful as we celebrate the 250th year of American independence.
We are selling tickets quickly, so get them while they are still available! One ticket gets one car onto the property!

The Bike Medic Program will be at the Dexter Farmers Market this coming Saturday (5/16/26) from 8am - 1pm. We are not taking appointments in favor of helping folks on a first come, first served basis. We are looking forward to meeting some new friends this year.
The Dexter Community Choir Concert 700pm @ American Legion along with Special guests, will be performing a tribute to the music of 1976. Access from Parker and D/Chelsea Rds.
