What a great idea!

🎄 Honor a Veteran This Holiday Season! 🎄

Join us at the Stars and Stripes National Museum and Library for a special project! We invite you to help decorate our Christmas trees with ornaments honoring your family members or friends who have served in the U.S. Military, from the Revolutionary War to the present day.

Each ornament should be for an individual veteran (living or deceased) and include their:

Name
Conflict/Era of Service
Branch of Service

We encourage handmade ornaments, reflecting the resourcefulness of families during times of war and rationing. Let's fill our trees with tributes to our heroes!

Bring in or mail your ornaments anytime between now and our Kids Day on December 20th. They will be proudly displayed through January 6th, 2026.

Let's work together to remember and honor those who have served. We especially hope to create ornaments for the 500+ Revolutionary War patriots buried right here in Missouri!
