We had the opportunity to attend Liberty Days round 2 Stars and Stripes Museum. We enjoyed speaking to the kids regarding why our Unit #59 has adopted the Tootsie Roll as our Post candy and the importance of Poppies ❤️🇺🇸

Kids Day is THIS Saturday!

We have even more planned for Kids Day at the Stars and Stripes National Museum & Library!

Join us Saturday from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. for a day of hands-on history and activities for kids and families.

A group of Vietnam War reenactors will be joining us, portraying both U.S. and Viet Cong soldiers and giving visitors an opportunity to learn about the uniforms, equipment and weapons used during the war.

And, weather permitting, they’ll take the history outside for a small reenacted skirmish demonstration!

Kids can also explore the museum with a special Kids Day Scavenger Hunt designed to get them looking a little closer at the stories and artifacts throughout the museum.
