🍀 Washington County 4-H Chicken Noodle Dinner Fundraiser 🍀

Come hungry and support a great cause!

Washington County 4-H invites everyone to join us for our Chicken Noodle Dinner Fundraiser on Sunday, November 1st, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Washington County Fair Building in Dewey, Oklahoma!

For just $10 per plate, enjoy a delicious, home-cooked meal featuring chicken noodles, green beans, mashed potatoes, a dinner roll, dessert, and a drink!

Proceeds from this fundraiser will help Washington County 4-H members attend camps and leadership conferences, provide continuing education for 4-H Club Leaders, purchase program supplies, awards, and support many other youth development opportunities.

Bring your family, invite your friends, and come enjoy a delicious meal while supporting the youth of Washington County!

🍀 Washington County 4-H Countywide Community Service Project! 🍀

This winter, Washington County 4-H is putting our Hands to Larger Service by helping keep our community warm!

We are collecting NEW hats and gloves to donate to B the Light and Mary Martha Outreach, helping provide warmth and comfort to individuals and families in need.

🧤 Items Needed: New hats and gloves (all sizes welcome!)

📍 Drop-Off Location: Washington County OSU Extension Office

📅 Donation Deadline: December 18, 2026

💚 We encourage all Washington County 4-H clubs, members, families, and community supporters to participate in this countywide service project!

Every hat and pair of gloves donated is an opportunity to make a difference and share a little kindness this winter.

🍀🌟 Washington County 4-H Leaders in Action! 🌟🍀

Washington County 4-H members have returned from an exciting few days at the 2026 Northeast District Youth in Action Leadership Conference! 🎉

Our 4-H delegates had an amazing time participating in leadership workshops, sports tournaments, service projects, district officer elections, and listening to an inspiring keynote speaker! They also enjoyed dancing, making new friends, reconnecting with old friends, and creating memories that will last a lifetime! 💚

🎉🍀 CONGRATULATIONS to Jerika Mathes, who was elected as the 2026–2027 Northeast District 4-H Secretary! We know she will do an outstanding job!

👏 We are proud of all our Washington County delegates for stepping outside their comfort zones, developing leadership skills, and representing our county!

💚 4-H is building the next generation of leaders, and these young people are proving they are BEYOND READY! 🍀

🍀 Washington County Celebrates National 4-H Week! 🍀

Washington County 4-H members had the honor of attending the Washington County Board of Commissioners weekly meeting to present the official National 4-H Week Proclamation, recognizing October 4–10, 2026, as National 4-H Week in Washington County!

Representing Washington County 4-H and helping present the proclamation were Jerika Mathes, Lydia Shupe, Will Flanagan, and Brooke Mitchell. Washington County 4-H President Jerika Mathes officially proclaimed National 4-H Week and encouraged our community to recognize the significant impact 4-H continues to make by empowering youth with the skills they need to lead for a lifetime.

This year’s National 4-H Week theme, “Beyond Ready,” celebrates how 4-H prepares young people for the future by helping them build leadership, communication, decision-making, and life skills through hands-on experiences.

We appreciate the Washington County Board of Commissioners for recognizing National 4-H Week and supporting the positive impact 4-H has on youth, families, and communities throughout Washington County.

Throughout National 4-H Week, we are proud to celebrate our members, volunteers, families, community partners, and everyone who helps make Washington County 4-H possible.

Calling all 4-H members in the 4-6 grade....Registration for the Oklahoma 4-H Junior Governor program is now OPEN!

🗳️ Leadership starts with learning how your voice can make a difference!

Join us for Oklahoma 4-H Junior Governor and explore the three branches of government, build public speaking skills and experience the election process firsthand. Designed for youth in grades 4-6, this hands-on event helps young leaders gain confidence, make connections and discover ways to serve their communities.

The event will be held Saturday, Nov. 7, in Stillwater. Registration is $20, and the deadline is Oct. 9, so sign up soon! ✍️
