This Memorial Day, we pause in solemn reflection to honor the men and women of the Armed Forces who gave their lives in service to our Nation. Their sacrifice stands as a lasting testament to courage, duty, and devotion to something greater than oneself.

As Freemasons, we are reminded that the true measure of a life is found in how it serves others. This Memorial Day, we especially remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice so that others might live in freedom and peace.

We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to the families who carry their memory forward. Your loss is shared in our collective remembrance, and your loved ones will not be forgotten.

May we all take time to reflect, to honor, and to renew our commitment to the principles of liberty, unity, and service.

Lest we forget.

It is with a heavy heart that we mark the passing of our Brother, Raymond W. “Ray” Redman.

After many years of faithful labor, he has laid down his working tools and been called from labor to refreshment. A devoted Mason of Vinita Lodge No. 5, Ray exemplified the quiet strength, service, and brotherly love that define our Craft.

Having served his country, his family, his church, and his lodge with honor, he now leaves the imperfections of this earthly lodge for that house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

Though we mourn his absence, we take comfort in the hope that he now stands before the Grand Architect of the Universe, where the light is never dimmed and the work is made perfect.

May we who remain carry forward his example, remembering that our time in the quarries is brief, and our duty is clear.

Rest well, our Brother. Your labor here is complete.

Tonight we celebrate and congratulate Bartlesville’s newest proficient Entered Apprentice, Eric Mumma! It is young men like Eric who carry our beloved fraternity into the future. We are equally excited to be by your side for what lies ahead!

Bartlesville past master William J. Foster has been appointed as the new Grand Master of the Second Veil by the new 2026–27 Grand Master of Royal Arch Masons of the State of Oklahoma, Most Excellent Companion Matthew D. McGee of Ponca City, and was installed during the Oklahoma York Rite Grand Sessions held this weekend in Oklahoma City.

In the first photograph, Worshipful Foster (third from left) is invested with his jewel of office. In the photograph of the 2026–27 Grand Officers, he is second from the right on the back row.
