Join NGLCC’s Heritage Committee and the Michigan Pride Chamber of Commerce in celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with Beyond the Campaign: Cultural Intelligence and Authentic Engagement, a conversation about how businesses can move beyond surface-level representation to build meaningful connections with Hispanic communities. Drawing on his experience as a gay Latino entrepreneur and co-owner of Eat It Up Marketing, an NGLCC-certified LGBTBE® marketing agency in San Antonio, Jonathan “Jon” Ramirez will explore why cultural intelligence is essential for authentically engaging Hispanic consumers. Attendees will learn how to move beyond cookie-cutter campaigns and stereotypes, incorporate cultural nuance into their marketing strategies, and build trust and long-term loyalty.
Jon will share real-world examples and actionable strategies businesses can use to better understand local culture, uplift diverse voices, and authentically connect with Hispanic consumers year-round. Whether you’re a business owner, marketing professional, corporate partner, or community leader, this conversation will offer practical insights for creating stronger connections with Hispanic communities.
