The Church is more than a building. It’s people who go first and carry the love of Jesus wherever they go.
It’s the hands that help rebuild. The hearts that make room for someone else’s burden. The prayers whispered over a hurting neighbor. The generosity that meets a need. The people who keep showing up long after the storm has passed.
Over these last few days, we’ve been reminded that being the Church isn’t just something we do on Sunday. It’s who we’re called to be every day.
“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” — John 13:35
Shoreline, let’s keep being a people marked by compassion, generosity, and hope.
The cleanup will continue. Recovery will take time. And our calling remains the same.
Love God. Love your neighbor. Be the Church.
